Practitioners

At the present time, the following registered practitioner designations are available from the WBNM.

Natural Medicine Practitioner^® (NMP^®)

• successful completion of at least 3000 hrs. of post secondary study from an accredited college in Nutritional Medicine, Botanical Medicine, Manual Medicine and Homeopathy.

Registered Naturotherapy Practitioner^® (RNP^®)

• successful completion of at least 2000 hrs. of post secondary study in two of the following disciplines: Nutritional Medicine, Botanical Medicine, Manual Medicine and Homeopathy.

Registered Acupuncture Practitioner^® (RAP^®)

• successful completion of at least 2000 hrs. of post secondary study in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.

Registered Lifestyle Management Practitioner^® (RLMP^®)

• successful completion of at least 1000 hrs. of post secondary study in Lifestyle and Wellness management.

Registered Nutritional Medicine Practitioner^® (RNMP^®)

• successful completion of at least 1000 hrs. of post secondary study in Nutritional Medicine.

Registered Natural Health Practitioner^® (RNhP^®)

• successful completion of at least 1000 hrs. of post secondary study from an accredited college in any of the following disciplines: Nutritional Medicine, Botanical Medicine, Manual Medicine and Homeopathy.

 

Designation requirements can be fulfilled by a combination of formal training, experience and / or a challenge examination set by the WBNM.

The World Board of Natural Medicine reserves the right to recommend further upgrading, or to deny registration to any applicant. The criteria for registration will be reviewed each year.
